HYAcorp is a CE-marked hyaluronic acid (HA) injectable manufactured by BioScience GmbH (Germany) specifically engineered for BODY use — it has a more cohesive, more cross-linked formulation than facial fillers, designed to hold structural shape against gravity and the mechanical forces of larger body areas (such as the buttock, calves, and shoulders). Facial fillers are too soft for this purpose; injecting a facial product into the buttock would result in poor shape retention and likely migration. HYAcorp's body-specific rheology is what allows non-surgical body contouring to work.

Important regulatory note: HYAcorp is NOT FDA-approved in the United States, where injectable body fillers are more tightly restricted. In UK aesthetic practice it should only be administered by a medically trained practitioner with experience in body filler injection — the larger volumes and the specific vascular anatomy of the buttock and calf areas make this a specialist-level procedure.

The most common HYAcorp indications are non-surgical buttock augmentation ("liquid BBL" / "non-surgical Brazilian Butt Lift"), calf augmentation and shaping, hip dips correction, and reshaping of localised body volume deficiencies after weight loss. It is not a treatment for overall body weight or for major-volume reconstruction (which would require surgical implant or fat transfer). They are three very different procedures with different trade-offs. HYAcorp (non-surgical HA body filler) gives instant, visible results with minimal downtime; the product is gradually metabolised by the body over 12–24 months and requires top-ups to maintain. Fat transfer (autologous lipo-injection) uses your own harvested fat — more involved procedure under sedation, longer recovery, but can be permanent if the fat survives the take-rate. Surgical silicone implants give permanent, very-large-volume results but are major surgery with substantial recovery and ongoing implant-care considerations. Your consultation discusses which is the right fit for your goal, budget, and recovery tolerance.

Most patients enjoy visible results for 12–24 months from a single round of treatment, depending on volume placed, the specific HYAcorp formulation used, the treated area, and your individual metabolism. The buttock typically holds longer than the calf because there is less mechanical stress on the area. Maintenance is usually a single top-up session every 12–18 months. Larger initial volumes generally last longer per ml than smaller corrections.

Volumes vary by area and goal. Non-surgical buttock enhancement typically uses 50–200 ml per side over one or more sessions for visible shaping. Calf augmentation typically uses 50–100 ml per calf. Hip-dip correction is smaller, typically 20–50 ml per side. We never push more product than your tissue can support comfortably.

We apply topical anaesthetic cream to the treatment area before injection, and HYAcorp itself contains lidocaine in the formulation which provides progressive numbing as injection proceeds. For larger volumes on the buttock, supplemental local anaesthetic injections can be added. Most patients describe the experience as pressure with intermittent stinging — uncomfortable but tolerable. The 60-minute session length includes time for anaesthetic onset and precise placement.

Expect swelling, firmness, and possible mild bruising at the treatment site for the first 3–7 days. For the first 48 hours, avoid sitting on hard surfaces for extended periods if the buttock was treated, and avoid intense exercise, heavy lifting, hot baths, saunas, or swimming pools for one week. Do not massage the treated area unless your practitioner specifically directs it — incorrect massage can move product or cause asymmetry. Wear loose, comfortable clothing during settling. Final result is visible at 2 weeks once swelling has fully resolved.
