What it is, and what it is not

A guide from a medical team, not a gimmick

  • Rules written by clinicians. The AI reads your photo; the treatments it can suggest, and when, come from planning rules written by our medical team.
  • Planned around your skin type. Light-based treatments are only suggested for the skin types our rules allow. See the skin type guide.
  • No prescription medicines online. If something needs one, your report suggests a consultation instead.
  • Your photo. Sent securely to Google’s Gemini AI for the analysis and preview, and never stored by INNODERM.

About the skin analysis

Is the skin analysis really free?
Yes. There is nothing to pay and no card to enter: you leave your email and mobile to unlock the full report and get a copy in your inbox. If you also join INNODERM Insider, it comes with £30 off a treatment of £100 or more and a free consultation (usually £30) when you book or ask for your consultation within 14 days. Not valid on prescription-only treatments.
What happens to my photo?
Your photo is sent securely to Google’s Gemini AI for the analysis and preview, and never stored by INNODERM. You give your consent before the camera opens. You must be 18 or over.
Is it a medical diagnosis?
No. It is a cosmetic skin report, a guide to what is visible in your photo. It does not diagnose skin conditions. Your practitioner confirms everything in person, with a proper skin assessment, before any treatment.
How accurate is an AI skin analysis?
It reads visible signs in one photo, so light, angle and make-up all affect it. Treat the scores as a starting point for a conversation, not a measurement. The treatment options in your report come from rules written by our medical team, not invented by the AI.
Does it work for every skin tone?
It is designed for all skin tones. Like any analysis of a photo, lighting and angle affect the reading, which is why your practitioner confirms everything in person. It also asks how your skin reacts to the sun, so light-based treatments are only suggested where our planning rules allow them for your skin type.
Can it recommend injections?
It can suggest injectable skin treatments such as skin boosters or polynucleotides when they fit your skin. It never recommends prescription-only medicines: when something could only be treated that way, your report suggests a medical consultation instead.
