TL;DR
QuantumRF 10 combined with Morpheus8 Burst targets jowls, loose skin and reduced jawline definition at different tissue depths. At Innoderm, this minimally invasive approach offers facial tightening and contouring without traditional surgery.
What Is QuantumRF 10? Treating Jowls & Loose Skin — A Real Innoderm Case Study
Loose skin around the lower face, developing jowls and loss of jawline definition are common concerns as facial tissues change over time. Traditionally, patients seeking a more significant lift may have considered surgical options — but advanced technologies now provide minimally invasive alternatives for suitable patients.
In this real patient case at Innoderm Aesthetic Clinic, we combined QuantumRF 10 with Morpheus8 Burst to target facial laxity, improve definition and support skin remodelling — without traditional facelift surgery.

What Was Our Patient Concerned About?
Our patient wanted to address visible changes through the lower face and jawline, particularly skin laxity, jowling and reduced definition.
Rather than adding volume with injectables, the aim of her treatment plan was to work on the existing tissue and skin quality, creating a firmer and more defined appearance while maintaining a natural result.
Following an individual assessment, we selected a combination of QuantumRF 10 and Morpheus8 Burst.
What Is QuantumRF 10?
QuantumRF 10 is an advanced, minimally invasive radiofrequency treatment designed for smaller and more delicate treatment areas.
Unlike treatments that deliver energy entirely from the surface, QuantumRF 10 uses a fine cannula beneath the skin to deliver controlled bipolar radiofrequency energy directly into the targeted tissue.
The treatment is designed to encourage soft-tissue contraction and improve contour, making it particularly relevant when addressing areas such as the jawline, jowls, lower face, under the chin and neck.
Importantly, this is achieved without the incisions and tissue removal involved in traditional facelift surgery.

Why Did We Combine QuantumRF 10 With Morpheus8 Burst?
For this patient, we wanted to address more than one level of the tissue.
While QuantumRF 10 works beneath the skin to support deeper tissue contraction and contouring, Morpheus8 Burst uses fractional radiofrequency microneedling to deliver RF energy at multiple depths.
Combining the two allowed us to approach the patient's concerns from different levels — focusing on facial contour and tissue contraction while also supporting skin remodelling, firmness and texture.
Rather than choosing between QuantumRF 10 and Morpheus8, this case demonstrates how the technologies can complement one another when clinically appropriate.

What Areas Did We Target?
The treatment plan focused particularly on the patient's lower face, jowls, jawline and submental area.
The goal was not to dramatically change her facial features. Instead, we wanted to address laxity and support a firmer, more defined lower-face contour while preserving her natural appearance.

Can QuantumRF 10 Replace a Facelift?
QuantumRF 10 can be an attractive option for suitable patients who want facial tightening without undergoing traditional surgery, but it is important to understand that it isn't the same as a surgical facelift.
A facelift can surgically reposition deeper facial tissues and remove excess skin. QuantumRF 10 instead uses radiofrequency energy to encourage tissue contraction through a minimally invasive approach.
For patients with mild-to-moderate facial laxity or developing jowls, a treatment such as QuantumRF 10 may therefore be worth considering before surgery.
However, patients with significant excess skin may still be better suited to a surgical procedure.
What Is Recovery Like?
Because QuantumRF 10 and Morpheus8 Burst use energy within the tissue, some redness, swelling, tenderness or temporary changes in the appearance of the treated area can occur following treatment.
The treatment image from our patient demonstrates why it's important not to judge the outcome immediately after the procedure. The skin needs time to settle and the tissue-remodelling process develops progressively.
Your practitioner will explain expected recovery, aftercare and when results should be assessed during your consultation.
Who Could Consider QuantumRF 10 + Morpheus8 Burst?
This combination may be worth discussing if your concerns include jowling, loose lower-face skin, reduced jawline definition, submental laxity or an overall loss of facial firmness.
However, the same treatment isn't appropriate for every patient.
At Innoderm, we assess your facial anatomy, degree of laxity, skin quality and desired outcome before recommending whether QuantumRF 10 alone, Morpheus8 Burst, a combination of both or another approach is most appropriate.
Facial Tightening Without Traditional Surgery
One of the most exciting aspects of combining QuantumRF 10 and Morpheus8 Burst is the ability to work at different tissue depths without performing traditional facelift surgery.
For the right patient, this creates an option between conventional non-invasive skin treatments and surgery — particularly when the concern has progressed beyond skin texture alone and involves jowling, laxity and loss of facial definition.
The objective is not to make you look like a different person. It is to create a firmer, more defined and naturally rejuvenated version of your existing features.
