PicoSure Pro fires laser energy in trillionths of a second, creating controlled micro-disruption in the skin without significant heat. This breaks pigment particles into very small fragments that the body gradually clears, while simultaneously triggering a regenerative response and collagen and elastin remodelling. For tattoo removal, the picosecond pulses shatter ink — including notoriously difficult blues, greens and previously treated colours — into particles small enough for the immune system to clear, with a much lower risk of thermal skin damage than traditional Q-switched lasers.

Mild redness, swelling and warmth are expected. A "frosting" / whitening of the skin can appear briefly. Apply cool compresses if needed.
Redness and slight swelling settle. Treated pigmentation often darkens before it fades. Mild dryness or flaking may occur.
Skin is healing. Continue gentle skincare and SPF 50 daily. Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids and other treatments.
Pigment fragments are gradually cleared by the body. Tone evens out and surface texture improves.
A follow-up session is typically scheduled in 2-4 weeks. Full results develop gradually over several weeks as collagen and elastin remodel.
