More About Skin Boosters

What are skin boosters?

Skin boosters are a type of dermal filler containing hyaluronic acid and other beneficial substances designed to improve skin hydration, elasticity, and overall quality. They are injected into the skin to provide deep hydration and stimulate collagen production.

How do skin boosters differ from traditional skincare products?

Unlike traditional skincare products that work on the skin’s surface, skin boosters are injectable treatments that deliver active ingredients, including hyaluronic acid, directly into the deeper layers of the skin. This allows for a more targeted and intensive approach to skin rejuvenation.

Are skin boosters suitable for all skin types?

Skin boosters are generally suitable for various skin types, but individual considerations, such as allergies or medical conditions, should be discussed with a healthcare professional before undergoing treatment.

What specific skin concerns can be addressed with skin boosters?

Skin boosters can address concerns such as dehydration, fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of skin elasticity. They are particularly effective for improving overall skin texture and restoring a youthful, radiant appearance.

How are skin boosters administered?

Skin boosters are administered through a series of micro-injections into the treatment area. The injections are performed evenly across the target area, ensuring uniform distribution of the hyaluronic acid and other beneficial ingredients.

Is there any downtime associated with skin booster treatments?

Skin booster treatments usually involve minimal downtime. Patients may experience mild redness or swelling at the injection sites, but these effects are temporary and generally resolve within a short period.

How frequently should one undergo skin booster sessions?

The frequency of skin booster sessions depends on individual goals and the specific product used. Initial treatment sessions may be spaced a few weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions to sustain the desired results.

Are there potential side effects or considerations with skin boosters?

Potential side effects are generally mild and may include temporary redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites. Serious complications are rare when administered by a qualified professional.

Can skin boosters be combined with other skincare or cosmetic procedures?

Yes, skin boosters can be combined with other skincare or cosmetic procedures to enhance overall skin rejuvenation. Combining treatments may provide comprehensive results, addressing multiple aspects of skin concerns.

Preparation for the treatment

    • Recommend avoiding alcohol in the 24 hours before your treatment;
    • Do not peel the area to prevent wounds, scratches, or skin damage;
    • It is forbidden to do treatment with acute inflammatory processes, such as herpes;
    • Do not visit the sauna, bathhouse, and solarium 2-3 days in advance before the treatment.

Aftercare

    • Avoid alcohol as this can lead to further bruising;
    • You have to avoid touching or massaging the injection area for 3 hours;
    • We recommend excluding active physical activity for at least 48 hours;
    • Avoid exposure to extreme heat: sauna, sunbeds, steam room;
    • Cosmetological cleansing and scrubs.
