Preparation for the treatment

    • Patients should avoid nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and certain blood thinners for about two weeks before the procedure, as these can interfere with platelet function;
    • Diet and Hydration: Eating a light meal and staying hydrated are recommended before the procedure to minimize the risk of dizziness or fainting during blood draw.

Aftercare

    • Avoid using skin care products for at least 48 hours. Resume normal skin care routines after this period, including the use of topical medications if applicable;
    • Mild pain, soreness, or bruising at the injection site is common. Patients can use acetaminophen for discomfort, but should avoid NSAIDs that may impair platelet function.
